There are a number of ways to pay for your orders with us. The most commonly selected option is by cheque. Other ways to pay include cash paid directly into our business account, bank transfer to our account (via online banking, for example), and also credit and debit cards via Google Checkout. Paypal may be used, but is subject to a 3.5% charge and also a 7 working day clearing delay (approximately). Your payment must be cleared before any order is despatched. If you choose to pay by cash, this means that we can ship your order out as soon as we are notified and can see the payment. This way, many of our products can be delivered to you for the following working day, subject to stock and also the time you make the payment. Payments made in cash before 3pm are generally sent out the same day. Cheques and bank transfers are subject to the standard time they take to clear, but once again, as soon as the payment is completely cleared, your order will be sent out. The time may vary (especially for transfers) depending on each bank, but as a guide we usually say approximately 5 working days. We are also now accepting credit and debit cards via Google Checkout, which we have only recently added. Until we have had sufficient time to get used to the way the system works, we will also require approximately 5 working days while the payment fully clears to our account. If there is a way to get around this delay, we will do so, however it is not always possible and does depend on the contents of your order. Google Checkout works in a similar way to Paypal, in that once your order is completed and submitted, you will be taken to the Google Checkout website, where if you are a new user, you will need to complete a short and simple signup process, followed by entering the required card details. Existing Google Checkout users may simply log in and confirm the order. Once we recieve the order via Google Checkout, your card will be charged. None of your card details are visible to anyone, and the whole system is automated. Google Checkout are also very good at spotting discrepencies in the card details, and will not hesitate to halt an order that looks suspicious.
