Denon DJ takes its innovative world’s first spinning active platter design to the next technical level. Introducing the industry’s new flagship DN-S3500 tabletop CD/MP3 player with a powerful 12-pole Direct Drive motor, 7 on-board effects, intuitive control, appealing design and style that will surely reinvent the tabletop market for all vinyl and digital DJs alike.
Delivering a stunning 2.5kg/cm of torque to the 7" platter, the S3500 spins to full speed in under half a second, with the option of 33.3 or 45 RPM settings, allowing the user to set their own preference.
The 7 effects included allow DJ's to employ a large arsenal of variations and "edits" to the music they are playing. For example, Denon's echo loop effect allows the DJ to echo and loop a section of a CD, and even change the CD while it is still playing! For the mobile DJ, the dump effect reverses the music, while keeping its forward time, making it excellent for censoring explicit lyrics.
As with the rest of the Sxx00 range, the S3500 supports playback of MP3 files, featuring support for both constant and variable bit rate files, 320kbps decoding, MP3 memo function, ID3 BPM tags, and a lot more. The S3500 also supports Denon's next track with crossfade function, allowing the unit to seamlessly crossfade between tracks on the same CD, or between two MP3's
Another addition to the S3500 is the worlds first loop to sampler copy function, allowing the DJ to take a loop and write it into the sample memory for use over another track. Denon have also included both Denon and Pioneer cueing methods, to allow the DJ to customise the deck to their own preferences once more. The pitch range of the S3500 is 4%/10%/16%/24%/50%/100%, with 0.02 and 0.05% resolution in 4% and 10% modes. MP3 files can be pitched up to 16%.
